"Free Cookies - No Catch! Free Cookies - No Catch!" This is what Lauron announced yesterday as she and Drew stood at the West Mall. True to her word, they gave cookies with no catch. And if people were interested, they asked a question: "How has the current economy affected you?" They also invited people to attend the interfaith dialog that will take place tonight at Texas Hillel. Again, the event is called: Brother, Can You Spare a Dime? Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Perspectives on the Current Financial Crisis. There will be a free Kosher meal at Texas Hillel at 6:30, and then speakers from the three traditions will discuss how their faith helps them to frame their ideas about the current economic conditions. It will also be a great opportunity for us to meet students from other faith traditions.
