So Proud of Our Graduates!

On Sunday, our congregation recognized our graduates from high school, college, graduate school, and seminary. Our church is blessed to have an active student life, and we are very proud of our graduates!

We appreciate the gifts, talent, energy, and imagination that students bring to our congregation. We could not be the people we are without them!

And our students remind us that University Presbyterian Church is a very important part of their lives, a place for growth, development, identity, and vocation.

Who are our graduates from Austin Agape this year?

Caleb Braley is graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in English, Rhetoric, and Writing. He is interested in full-time ministry and is particularly hoping to work with youth in the near future.

Stephanie Cantu will be graduating from the University of Texas with a Plan II Honors degree focusing on psychology and business. She'll be moving to the University of Minnesota for graduate school in the fall.

Liz Miguez will graduate from the University of Texas with degrees in English and Spanish. This semester she was an intern for Senator Royce West, working for the intergovernmental relations committee.

William Nash will be graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in Religious Studies. William has a passion for reading and learning everything he can, and he hopes to eventually go to graduate school for religious studies and become a professor.

Laura Weise will be graduating from the University of Texas with a Plan II Honors Degree and a degree in Biology. Laura will marry Jonathan Cross next month, and they will be moving east for Laura to begin graduate work at the University of North Carolina in the fall.

We are so proud of each of you!
