The Innervisions Gospel Choir

On Saturday night, some members of Austin Agape and University Presbyterian Church had the pleasure of attending the Spring Concert for the Innervisions Gospel Choir. The concert was not only full of inspired music; the event was truly a worship service, filled with praise, laughter, movement, and meaningful prayer.

The Innervisions Gospel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings in our church during the school year. The members are students of UT who have found a rich sense of community with one another. Their rehearsals are not only concerned with the technical aspects of their music. They have Bible Studies together and share their faith in meaningful conversation. We are really blessed to have these students here under our roof on Thursday nights!

This picture seems to capture much of what the Innervisions Gospel Choir is about. They are truly a family of faith who love to be together, sing with heart and soul, and laugh as Christian friends.

We look forward to ways we can support Innervisions and learn from them as we think about the upcoming 2009-2010 year. Thank you, choir!
