Drew and I are both doing well here in Miraj. The food is very good. The people are great. The rain has come. The first night and following day we were here were pretty dry. The following two days have been wet and rather muddy. I am observing in neurology right now, and Drew in CT. We are learning a lot about medicine in a hospital setting. We are also learning a lot about the local culture. A popular tea here is called chai; the local language is Marathi, though most of the hospital staff speak pretty good English; there are a handful or so of regular tennis players who play when weather allows; and apparently you can be areested by the police for "smooching" in public.Best! Great to hear from you Patrick. Looking forward to your return to the Hard Knox in the Fall. I hope the rain stops long enough for you to play some serious tennis. Send some of the rain this way.
By the way I just spent 4 days at Mo-Ranch with Junior High Jubilee. Not much tennis--they keep us pretty busy. Guess who was the Energizer leader? Emmeline! I asked her where she had been and she said she was really busy with school. She's really a good energizer leader.
